Her grandma wanted an exceptionally soft and cuddly quilt to lay her on - I found the tutorial to make these pouchy squares somewhere on the internet when I found a tutorial about fabric manipulation. The squares were fun to make but the sewing together became more and more difficult as the quilt began to grow by the square. After sewing square to square and row to row I had a strange muscle ache the next day..... so don´t say that patchwork and quilting isn´t physical work!
